TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College junior Austin Grace has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Grace helped the Greyhounds begin the 2017-18 season with a 1-1 record as he won both of his singles matches over the weekend. Grace had a 6-0, 6-0 victory at fifth singles in the Hounds' season-opening 9-0 sweep of Delaware Valley University. He then bumped up a spot for a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8) victory at fourth singles as Moravian fell to FDU-Florham, 6-3, on Sunday.

"It is no surprise to me that Austin is playing well and winning matches for us," commented Director of Tennis Alan Heverly. "He has been consistently improving his match play with both improved physical skills and mental toughness since he joined the team as a freshman. This award is a testament to his hard work and he certainly deserves."

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Monday, September 25 in a non-conference match versus DeSales University beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Hoffman Courts in Bethlehem.
