Greyhounds Play to Scoreless Draw at Catholic in Landmark Conference Opener

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- The Moravian University women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with host The Catholic University of America Saturday to open the 2023 Landmark Conference season. 

How It Happened

  • The teams combined to take 12 of the matches' 18 shots in the opening 45 minutes
  • Junior defender Hailey Scaff and junior midfielder Sydney DeFranco had shots on goal in the first half for the Hounds while junior defender Kylie Hughes put a shot on the keeper with just over three minutes remaining in the contest

  • Senior goalie Payce Korpics recorded three saves in the first half of the match while senior goalie Paige Harrison played the final 45 minutes
  • Moravian had a 10-8 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks
