Women's Cross Country Competes at Dickinson Long-Short Invitational

NEWVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's cross country team was off to the races today at the Dickinson College Long-Short Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania.

Leading the Hounds today was junior Sarah Hughes, who finished 11th overall and laid down a time of 23:16 on the 6,000 meter course. Just behind Hughes was junior Meg Brockett running a quality time of 23:35 and finishing 15th in the race. The next finisher for Moravian was freshman Kelly Gonoude pacing herself to a 25:37.

Freshman Alyssa Limbaugh ran a 26:09 in her second collegiate race while sophomore Kirsten Lebo finished with a 27:50.

Up next for Moravian is the Paul Short Invitational held at Lehigh University on Friday, October 2.
