TOWSON, Md. --- Freshman Heidi Wegscheider has been selected to the 2024 Landmark All-Conference Honorable Mention squad after finishing in the top 16 at the Landmark Conference Championships this past weekend.
Wegscheider was one of three Greyhounds to compete at the 2024 Landmark Conference Championships on April 27-28 at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort as Moravian completed its inaugural season. The top six individual finishers were named to the All-Conference First Team while those finishing seventh through twelfth were named to the Second Team and 13th through 16th selected as Honorable Mention.
Wegscheider is the first women’s player in program history to receive postseason honors after placing 14th of the 41 golfers with a 36-hole score of 180. Wegscheider had an 89 in the opening round Saturday with eight pars, and she shot a 91 in the second round with six pars.
