Greyhounds Drop Match at Nationally-Ranked Rowan

GLASSBORO, N.J. --- The Moravian College women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to nationally-ranked Rowan University in non-conference action Wednesday evening.

The Profs, who are ranked No.11 by D3soccer.com and No. 23 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, scored in the 42nd minute and the 48th minute.

Moravian's best opportunity to score in the match came early in the seventh minute when junior defender Lauren Bertucci put a header on net after a corner kick. Junior goalie Jessica Lawton had nine saves in the contest for the Greyhounds.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, September 17 in a non-conference match versus the College of Mount Saint Vincent (N.Y.) beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
