TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior jumper Jerome Luckey has been named as the Landmark Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Luckey won the high jump at the Franklin & Marshall College Blue & White Invitational with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying height of 2.00 meters (6.6-75), tied for the fourth best in program history. Luckey was also 12th in the long jump with a leap of 5.77 meters (18-11.75).

"Jerome came to us at the beginning of our spring semester," stated Jumps Coach Molly Sear. "He clearly has a lot of knowledge and dedication to our sport, and it shows daily. He lifts his teammates up at practice by providing them with motivation, but he also gives them tips that have worked for him so they can accomplish their goals. I give him a lot of credit for working with a new team for such a short amount of time, but thriving in cooperation and teamwork, as well as finding success in his events. Jerome has his eyes on the prize this season, chasing the school record and a national qualifier. I believe it is an accomplishment he can achieve and the whole staff and team can't wait for what is in store for him."

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Friday, February 16 when the squad travels to the Penn State University Tune-Up slated to begin at 2:00 p.m.
