Men's Tennis Earns 1st Landmark Win over Susquehanna, 7-2

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team snapped a two-match losing streak with a 7-2 Landmark Conference win over Susquehanna University Thursday in a match played at DeSales University.

The Greyhounds, who earned their first Landmark Conference win of the season, fell behind 2-1 in doubles action.  Seniors Kevin Holze and Doug Morrow posted an 8-1 win at first doubles.  For Holze, it was his 37th career doubles win while Morrow picked up his 33rd career victory.  Senior David Chan and junior Brad Kutcha nearly won at third doubles before falling 9-8 (7-4).

\Moravian swept the singles action to earn the victory.  Holze won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles for his 45th career victory, moving into a tie for third in school history.  Morrow posted a 6-1, 6-0 win at second singles while senior Drew Shreter earned as 6-3, 6-4 victory at third singles for his 41st career win.  Freshman Lewis Cooper had a straight sets win at fourth singles while Kutcha and Chan recorded three-set victories at fifth and sixth singles.

The Greyhounds will return to action Monday, April 9 in a Landmark Conference match at Juniata College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
