HARRISBURG, Pa. --- Moravian College women's basketball coach Mary Beth Spirk was one of 40 individuals highlighted in the Harrisburg Patriot-News Monday for a story on the 40th anniversary of Title IX.
The Patriot-News profiles 40 athletes and coaches that make up the generations around Title IX. Spirk is part of the Generation II section for those born between 1954 and 1967, and were attending college when the full effects of the law began to take shape in intercollegiate athletics.
