SCRANTON, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's basketball team dropped a hard fought battle with Landmark Conference opponent the University of Scranton on Wednesday in Scranton. The Hounds lost by a final score of 68-53.

Leading the charge for the Greyhounds was junior forward Brandon McGuire, who recorded his seventh double-double of the year scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. The Greyhounds jumped out to an early lead over Scranton when Holder knocked down a 3-pointer just moments into the opening stanza. From that point on, the Blue and Grey would battle with back-and-forth with the Royals to keep the game close. The Hounds were able to tie the game up seven different times throughout the night including at halftime when Moravian tied the game at 26 points each to keep Scranton on its heels. However Moravian was unable to hang with Scranton late in the second half.
