GLENSIDE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team began its 2016-17 season Saturday with a 6-3 setback at Arcadia University in non-conference action.
The Greyhounds trailed 2-1 after doubles action with the duo of sophomores Isaac Schefer and Peter Demyan posting a 9-7 victory at second doubles.
The Hounds would get two more wins in singles as senior Giovanni Lombardi had a straight sets, 6-3, 6-1 victory at first singles while Demyan won 6-0, 6-0 at four singles.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 28 in a non-conference match versus NCAA Division I Lafayette College beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Hoffman Courts in Bethlehem.
