Moravian Moves Back to 10th in Latest NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll

Moravian softball ranked 10th in latest NFCA DIII Top 25 Poll.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Moravian College softball team moved up two spots to No. 10 this week in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll.

The Greyhounds, led by 26-year Head Coach John Byrne who has 853-246 career mark, are now 31-5 on the season. The Blue and Grey were ranked No. 21 in the 2019 NFCA Division III Preseason Poll before being No. 24 in the first regular season. The squad returned to the poll after three weeks on March 27 also at No. 24 before jumping up to a tie for 14th and then up to tenth before dropping to 11th two weeks ago and 12th last week.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday, May 3 when the squad hosts the 2019 Landmark Conference Tournament at Blue & Grey Field in Bethlehem with the top seeded Greyhounds playing fourth seed The University of Scranton at 11:00 a.m. to begin the tournament.
