TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior pitcher Madi Cunningham has been named the Landmark Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performance last week.

Cunningham, who earned her second honor of the season from the Landmark Conference, had a 3-0 week as the Greyhounds posted a 5-1 record during the week while clinching the top seed in the 2024 Landmark Conference Tournament. She posted a 1.31 ERA with 13 strikeouts and three walks in 16 innings of action. Cunningham also had one hit, one run and one RBI at the plate and five assists in the field. Cunningham had five strikeouts in four innings of a 12-0, five-inning win over Arcadia University, and she added three strikeouts in five innings in an 11-1, five-inning victory at Franklin & Marshall College. Cunningham finished the week with five strikeouts in seven innings in a 7-3 win over The University of Scranton to clinch the top seed.

"Madi had another great week in the circle and at this point of the year it's about being confident and competing each and every pitch," stated Head Coach Josh Baltz. "She is prepared to finish strong, and I look forward to watching her pitch in the biggest moments down the stretch!"

The Greyhounds, who are 25-8 overall and 13-3 in Landmark Conference play, are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, May 7 with a non-conference doubleheader at Manhattanville College starting at 1:00 p.m. before hosting the 2024 Landmark Conference Tournament at Blue & Grey Field on May 10-12.
