NEWVILLE, Pa. --- Returing to action after three weeks off, the Moravian College women's cross country team ran the 6,000-meter long race as part of the Dickinson College Long/Short Invitational run at Big Spring High School Saturday.
The Greyhound women placed eighth of 35 teams in the 6K run with senior Emily Lambright leading the squad with a time of 24:08.93 to placed 32nd overall. Senior Claire Del Casale was four spots back with a time of 24:14.88 while senior Devon Bedell was 37th in 24:21.96.
Freshman Meredith Colton took 68th for Moravian in a time of 25:03.56 while sophomore Sarah Hughes was 78th in 25:22.40. Freshman Jillian Troisi turned in a time of 25:38.33 for 87th place while freshman Kirsten Lebo was 96th in the race in 25:56.70/
The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 4 at the 41st Annual Brooks Paul Short Run at Lehigh University.
