Moravian Finishes Seventh at F&M Invitational to Finish Fall Season

LANCASTER, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team finished seventh of 13 schools at the Franklin & Marshall College Invitational Monday afternoon played at the Bent Creek Country Club.

The Greyhounds had a team score of 318 while the F&M Blue team took first with a 307. The Hounds were just six strokes out of second place with the second through ninth place teams all separated by just eight strokes.

Senior Nick Kuhn paced the Blue and Grey with a four-over par round of 75 to finish in a tie for seventh of the 69 golfers on the Bent Creek course. It was Kuhn's fifth round of the season in the 70s and his fourth top ten finish. Junior Kody Kolnik was tied for 15th with a 78, which is his lowest round of the season, while freshman Andrew Hozza was tied for 32nd with an 82. Junior Thomas Lakata was one stroke back in a tie for 36th with an 83 while sophomore Will Breslin was tied for 41st with an 84.

The Greyhounds look to resume their 2019-20 season in late March as the squad begins its tune-up for the 2020 Landmark Conference Championships to be hosted by Juniata College on April 25-26.
