BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- With their 2020 spring season cancelled before they began by COVID-19, the Moravian College Department of Athletics & Recreation today honors the four senior members of the Greyhounds' men's and women's and golf teams that missed out on their Senior Day.

Senior Christopher Csencsits registered nine doubles victories and a pair of singles wins in his three seasons with the Greyhounds. He made Moravian's Dean's List once. Chris is the son of Judy and Paul Csencsits, and he is majoring in financial economics and a minor in accounting at Moravian.

"Chris was a good contributor on our men's team," said Director of Men's and Women's Tennis Aaron Wilf. "He was a hard worker who was very passionate about competing and developing his skills on the court."

Senior Eiman Nazif posted career marks of 29-4 in singles and 25-14 in doubles over her three years with Moravian. Eiman was selected to the 2019 Landmark All-Conference First Team in singles and the 2017 Landmark All-Conference Second Team in singles. She was on Moravian's Dean's List twice. Eiman is the daughter of Hala Kabbani and Mutasem Nazif, and she is majoring in neuroscience with a minor in Spanish at Moravian.

"Eiman has been so essential in this team's success over the last few years," noted Wilf. "She has played in some very significant matches towards the top of the lineup and continues to be such a fierce competitor. Eiman certainly made our program a lot better and we'll deeply miss having her on this team."

Senior Lauren Steinert posted career records of 39-13 in singles action and 39-16 in doubles action, and her .709 career doubles winning percentage is tenth in school history. Lauren tied the school record with 20 wins in 2018-19, and her 20-0 record tied the school mark for season winning percentage. Lauren was selected to the 2018 and 2019 Landmark All-Conference Second Team in doubles and the 2019 Landmark All-Conference Second Team in singles. She was also named to the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll three times, an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Scholar-Athlete twice, the 2019 Lehigh Valley Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Most Outstanding Women's Tennis Athlete and Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society. Lauren is the daughter of Joyce and Jeff Steinert, and she is majoring in vocal performance at Moravian.

"Lauren has been so valuable to this team over her time here at Moravian," Wilf commented. "Whether she's playing singles or doubles she finds big ways to contribute to our success. We know the kind of effort we'll get from her every day and her passion for the sport of tennis was unmatched."

Nazif and Steinert helped the Greyhounds to a school-record 20 wins in the 2018-19 season to go with a Landmark Conference Championship and a trip to the 2019 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament where the Hounds captured their first NCAA Tournament win in the program's third NCAA appearance.

Senior Nick Kuhn finished his career with a scoring average of 80.26 over 39 rounds, the 12th best average in school history, and he had five top five and 12 top ten finishes in his career. Nick had a scoring average of 76.17 over six rounds to go with one top five finish and four top ten finishes in 2019-20 with a season low round of 72 in the second round of the Montgomery Cup. Nick earned a spot on the 2019 Landmark All-Conference First Team with a fourth-place finish at the conference championships. He was named to the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll in 2020 and Moravian's Dean's List once. Nick in the son of Jill and Joe Kuhn, and he is majoring in business management with a minor in sociology.

"Nick has been a great leader for our program his senior year," stated Head Coach Kevin Edwards. "He continued to grow on the course and in the classroom throughout his greyhound career improving both his stroke average and GPA. He finished First Team All-Conference last spring and was in great position to do that again this year. He will be missed next year, and I wish him the best continuing his education in graduate school."
