BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College is continuing its look back at its 2019-20 athletic campaign. The next event in the Top 10 Exciting Games from the past year is our No. 5 highlight – the women's basketball team defeating Drew University, 60-58, on a last-second shot by sophomore guard Kayla Yoegel.

The Greyhounds were 15-11 this past winter with an 8-6 mark in Landmark Conference action as the squad qualified for the postseason for the 19th consecutive year.

On February 5 with the Hounds celebrating Girls and Women in Sport Day in Johnston Hall, the Blue and Grey jumped out to a 17-13 lead after the first quarter before a 22-points second quarter from the Rangers had Drew ahead 35-31 at halftime.

 Moravian outscored the Rangers, 13-10, in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 45-44 after 30 minutes of action.

Yoegel, who led the Greyhounds with a career-high 20 points in the contest, hit a three-pointer 1:06 into the fourth quarter as the Hounds took a 47-45 lead, and another trey by Yoegel had the Blue and Grey up 54-49 with just over five minutes left in the contest. The Rangers came back to knot the score twice, the final time at 58-58. Moravian would get of three shots in the final seconds with Yoegel hitting a put back lay-up with 1.3 seconds left for the lead. Drew had one final shot but missed as the Hounds escaped with the victory.

All 60 of Moravian's points came from the starting five in the contest with senior guard Maddie Capuano adding 15 points and senior forward Nadine Ewald adding her 13th double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
