Moravian Welcomes 64 Student-Athletes into Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College Department of Athletics & Recreation welcomes 64 student-athletes into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, in the Greyhounds' third year with the organization.

Chi Alpha Sigma works with NCAA and NAIA member institutions to recognize outstanding college student-athletes for their successes both on the field of competition and in the classroom. To be eligible for Chi Alpha Sigma, student-athletes must be a junior and/or senior with a 3.4 or higher GPA and have earned a varsity letter. The new inductees will receive a certificate and a medallion with the 29 seniors also receiving an honors cord.

"Greyhound student-athletes have always performed well in the classroom and it is exciting to have an opportunity to recognize these achievements with their induction into Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athletic Honor Society," commented Associate Director of Athletics Renee Hellert. "The amount of dedication these students put forth in both their sport and in the classroom is immeasurable and it is an honor to celebrate their success."

Moravian's 2020 Chi Alpha Sigma honorees include 29 seniors and 35 juniors representing 19 varsity programs and includes the following student-athletes:
