Top 10 Stories Of 2019-20 - #9 Novonti & Robinson Earn Landmark Conference Athlete Of The Year Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College is continuing its look back at its 2019-20 athletic campaign. The next entry in our second countdown of the summer – the Top 10 Stories of the Year selected by the athletic administration – is our No. 9 highlight – junior Natalie Novotni and freshman Crystal Robinson earning Landmark Conference Athlete of the Year honors.

Junior Natalie Novotni repeated as the Landmark Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Year after winning the conference title for the second straight year last November in the 2019 championship hosted by The Catholic University of America in Colmar, Maryland. Novotni won the 6,000-meter race in a time of 23:03.43 to garner Landmark All-Conference First Team honors along with her second individual title while helping Moravian to a runner-up team finish.

Freshman Crystal Robinson earned Landmark Conference Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year accolades after winning a pair of individual titles in the February meet hosted by Susquehanna University. Robinson won the 200-meter dash in 26.43 seconds and the 400-meter dash in 1:00.55, and she also ran a leg of the winning 4x400-meter relay that had a time of 4:10.80 as the Greyhounds won their third straight and 12th overall Landmark Conference Indoor title. Robinson earned All-Conference Second Team honor in the 60-meter dash with a PR time and runner-up finish of 8.05 seconds.
