Why did you decide to attend Moravian College? I decided to come to Moravian College because its a small school and I liked the sense of community

Why did you choose to work in the Athletic Department and what is your favorite part of your job? I choose to work in the Athletic Department because I LOVE sports and interacting with athletes. My favorite part of my jobs in the athletic department was the various personalities I would encounter whether on the teams or among the other student workers.

What is the best advice you can give underclassmen? Be on time to your jobs and work for a department you know you'll enjoy.

Where's the next place on your travel bucket list and why? Abu Dhabi. It has so many beautiful architectural designs that I would love to see in person, and I know so little about the culture in the Middle East. It would be amazing to immerse myself in the culture and educate myself. And of course, all the tourist activities: the beach, riding a camel, and sand dune racing :)

Do you have a favorite holiday? Why or why not? Not really, I like most of them haha. But if I had to choose one, I would choose Thanksgiving. I really enjoy getting together with all my friends and families and spending time cooking, watching movies and playing games

Why did you decide to attend Moravian College? I originally came to Moravian because I was interested in the Neuroscience program. However, after finding out that I had to work with rats, I was forced to change my major. With much help from the Career Center, and faculty and friends, I was able to figure out what my passion is and what I want to do with my life. So came for neuroscience, but I stayed because of the people and the relationships that I built.

Why did you choose to work in the Athletic Department and what is your favorite part of your job? As a freshman, I had a lot of upperclassmen friends watching out for me. Since many of them were athletes, the fitness center was one of the first places that they suggested. Since then I've gotten involved with so many other things in the Athletic Department and I've enjoyed every part of it!

What is the best advice you can give underclassmen? Don't focus so much on the future. Yes, do well in your classes and plan for the future, but pay attention to the now. Live in the moment, create relationships and step outside of your comfort zone. It's okay to fail, as long as you learn from it, and move forward.

Where's the next place on your travel bucket list and why? I have not traveled all that much in my life, but I would love to visit the Carolina's and if I could go anywhere I would love to go somewhere tropical and sunny.

Do you have a favorite holiday? Why or why not? My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, one because of the stuffing, two because it isn't all about gifts, it is just family, great food and naps.

Why did you decide to attend Moravian College? I decided to attend Moravian College after sitting in on an accepted students day class with Kerry Cheever learning about the PQRST wave and envisioned myself being a student in that classroom each and every day. After I saw myself sitting there, I just knew that this school would help me get through nursing school. I also loved the architecture and how small the campus was, seeing as I came from a high school that only graduated 105 seniors.

Why did you choose to work in the Athletic Department and what is your favorite part of your job? I chose to work in the Athletic Department because I used to play volleyball for Moravian and still wanted to be involved in athletics as much as possible. I love working at the fitness center because you see waves of people each and every shift and can talk to people who you may have never interacted with before. They also treat you like adults and hold you responsible for your actions, which is a great skill to learn throughout college.

What is the best advice you can give underclassmen? The best advice I can give to underclassmen is to do what is right for you. Do not be afraid to be yourself and reach out when you are in need of help. You don't have to be great at everything, but you should always try your best. It really does go by so fast, so live it up and don't procrastinate. The most important thing I could ever give to underclassmen is, if you are stressed remember to take a break for yourself. We all like to have good grades, but your mental health is more important and remember to take a deep calming breath, you've got this!

Why did you decide to attend Moravian College? My sister went to Moravian College, so I already knew pretty much about it. I decided to attend because I knew it would provide me with the tools to succeed once I graduate.

Why did you decide to attend Moravian College? I decided to attend Moravian College because my uncle went here and my cousin was coming as well. I met with Mark Fleming at accepted students day and talked to him about being a part of the Athletic department and he was happy to have me. I also met Dr. Thorpe on that day and it was the icing on the cake that I made the right decision.

Why did you choose to work in the Athletic Department and what is your favorite part of your job? I chose to work in the Athletic department for two reasons. One of them being I knew my playing career was over and I still loved sports, and the other being I wanted to be a professional sports broadcaster after school and it gave me the wonderful chance to do it. My favorite part of the job is not only getting the chance to know a lot of the teams I broadcast for and being a part of the great moments they create on the field but being a part of the team that puts on the streams. Billy, Armando, Justin, Nadia, Talea, Ashley, Christian, Austin, Mairi, Jordan, Sarah, Lauren, Josh, Alec, Kayla, Nicole, Renee, and Mark all make the job 10x more enjoyable because of the great atmosphere we have while producing the games.

What is the best advice you can give underclassmen? I think the most important thing I have learned in my college time is to do things the way they work for you but do not shut down other ideas and processes. Everything can be fine tuned so don't go away from others ideas instead just listen to them and see what you can apply to your own life and routine if anything.

Morning, noon, or night? Any time of day is great but the morning is the choice especially very early because it is nice and peaceful.

Burgers or tacos? Taco Bell tacos rule all, but burgers are the choice everywhere else, especially shake shack burgers.

Pool or ocean? Too tough to call, the ocean and pool are both really fun. You can body surf in the ocean and can't really do it in a pool. On the other hand you can't really play basketball in the ocean like you can in a pool, or at least I have not tried it yet.

Marvel or DC? Marvel by a country mile. DC has some good individual films but the MCU is a cinematic masterpiece. I have watched each movie roughly 10 times, except for Thor 1 and 2.

Why did you decide to attend Moravian College? I loved the idea of small, close-knit classes and campus community. I've had family attend, and it was the perfect distance from home.

Why did you choose to work in the Athletic Department and what is your favorite part of your job? My major is Health Science, Pre-AT, so I thought what a better way to get experience than to work with our amazing athletic trainers. My favorite part of my job is getting to meet new people every day and getting to be on the sidelines for games!

What is the best advice you can give underclassmen? My best advice to underclassmen would be to get out and about on campus, join clubs and go to MAC events. You never know where you'll meet another best friend!

Why did you decide to attend Moravian College? I honestly had not heard about Moravian College until they reached out to my email during high school. When I visited, what stood out the most to me was the close community, a sense of togetherness and the beauty of the campus. I felt at home at Moravian for all these reasons.

Why did you choose to work in the Athletic Department and what is your favorite part of your job? For the majority of my life up to college I had played soccer and when I found out I could work for the soccer teams as part of my work study, I just had to apply. I am so glad I did because I got to stay close to the sport I love without playing and even better I got to know so many great people.

What is the best advice you can give underclassmen? I would say work at your own pace. It's important to stay focused on academics and get assignments done on time, but it's even more important to take care of yourself. If you stress yourself out doing an assignment or studying for a test you'll likely end up doing worse on it, so just take deep breaths and avoid putting yourself in stressful situations.

Why did you choose to work in the Athletic Department and what is your favorite part of your job? I work in the equipment room and Josh is my supervisor. He is an assistant softball coach and that is how I got the job.

What is the best advice you can give underclassmen? Always stay on top of your work and try to get work done early so you have time to focus on your sport or hang out with friends.
