Cross Country Squads Set to Race for First Time in 2019 on August 30 at Lehigh University

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's and women's cross country squads are set to run in the Lehigh University Invitational at the Goodman Campus on Friday, August 30 to begin the 2018 season.

Ninth-year Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann has 15 women and 12 men returning to run this fall led by seniors Gregory Jaindl and Gavin Kemery, who both earned Landmark All-Conference First Team honors for the men, and seniors Carly Danoski and Katie Mayer on the women's side with Mayer making the All-Conference First Team and Danoski on the Second Team a year ago. The men also return sophomore Dominic DeRafelo, who was the 2018 Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year, while the women welcome back defending champion and Landmark Performer of the Year junior Natalie Novotni and Rookie of the Year sophomore Natalie Stabilito.

The Greyhounds season begins in Bethlehem on Friday with the men's 6,000-meter race set for 5:30 p.m. and the women's 6,000-meter race to follow at 6:15 p.m.
