Men's Lacrosse Makes Return on February 27, 2016

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's lacrosse team has high hopes for the program's return this year. The Greyhounds under Head Coach Dave Carty will face off in 13 games in the team's first varsity season since 2010. They will play seven of their 13 contests down at the turf of Rocco Calvo Field.

The Blue and Grey will play four of their first six games of the season at home. They will kick off the 2016 campaign at home with a contest against Rosemont College at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27. Then staying at home, the Hounds will take on Hood College on Wednesday, March 2 at 3:30 p.m. On Wednesday, March 9 at 3:30 p.m., the Greyhounds will take on rival Muhlenberg College for the Matte Award Match down at the turf then on the Wednesday the 16th of March, the Greyhounds will take on Wells College at 3:30 p.m. Following the game with Wells, the team will take off on a two-game road trip. The Greyhounds will then return home for two straight games on March 26 and 30 versus Wilkes University and King's (Pa.) College.

The Hounds will play their final home game on Wednesday, April 20 versus Immaculata University and then Moravian will close the season out with an away contest at Drew University on Saturday, April 23 at 1:00 p.m.

The team is making its return to varsity status as independent this spring before joining the Landmark Conference in 2017.
