Moravian Comes Up Short Versus Stockton

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University field hockey team fell to visiting Stockton University, 1-0, in non-conference action under the lights on John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening. 

How It Happened

  • The Ospreys scored the lone goal of the match with about a minute and a half remaining in the opening quarter off of a penalty corner
  • Moravian's best opportunity to score game six and a half minutes into action when senior forward Hanna Leto and sophomore forward Gia Ambrosino both had shots saved in a battle for a loose ball in the circle

  • Freshman goalie Maia Machado registered five saves for the Blue & Grey
  • Stockton held a 12-3 advantage in shots and a 13-5 edge in penalty corners
