Greyhounds Named to 2023 NFHCA National Academic Squad; Kehoe Earns Scholar of Distinction

GILBERT, Ariz. --- Ten student-athletes from the Moravian University field hockey team have been selected to the 2023 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Squad sponsored by OPA Winning Teams while senior Bekkah Kehoe was named as an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction.

"We are extremely proud to have 10 members of our team named to the 2023 Division III National Academic Squad," commented Head Coach Sarah Dalrymple. "It is incredibly rewarding to watch our student-athletes succeed in the classroom as well as on the field."

Kehoe was joined on the National Academic Squad by seniors Hanna Leto and Maria Tice, juniors Sydney Anderson, Marianna Crisafulli, Lexi Dinsmore and Savannah Sutter, sophomore Megan Felmly and freshman Maddie Snyder.To be named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average through the first semester of the 2023-24 academic year. Kehoe and Leto were both four-year selections to the National Academic Squad.

Kehoe earned Scholar of Distinction honors for the fourth time in her career. The Scholar of Distinction is given to student-athletes that have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2023-24 academic year.

"We are especially proud of our Scholar of Distinction, Bekkah Kehoe," noted Dalrymple. "She has pushed herself both on the field and in the classroom daily while representing Moravian Field Hockey with pride."
