TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior midfielder Sarah Bietka has been honored as the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Bietka helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week as she scored a pair of goals and added an assist. Biekta scored on her only shot attempt as Moravian earned a 2-1 non-conference win at FDU-Florham. She then added a goal and an assist in a 4-3 Landmark Conference win at Wilkes University.
"Sarah has played a significant role on our team since her first year," noted Head Coach Sarah Dalrymple. "We're really excited that her consistent hard work on the field is paying off."
The Hounds are slated to return to action on Wednesday, October 4 when the squad hosts No. 24 The College of New Jersey in Moravian's final non-conference match of the season with first touch set for 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field in Bethlehem.
