BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Head Coach Jim Walker of the Moravian College men's basketball team has named his team captains for the 2012-13 season. Senior guards D.J. Strayhorn and Garrett Johnson will be co-captains.
Strayhorn was named to the 2011-12 Landmark All-Conference First Team after averaging 19.1 points per game to go with his 82 assists, 52 rebounds and 51 steals. Strayhorn had a team-high .833 free throw percentage (95-of-114) and 39 three-pointers.
Johnson was a 2011-12 Landmark All-Conference Second Team selection after putting up 12.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game to go with his 75 assists, 42 steals, 38 three-pointers and 12 blocks.
The Greyhounds open up their 2012-13 campaign on Friday, November 16th when they take on Elms College at the Albright Tournament. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
