Greyhounds Begin Spring Season with Third Place at Lebanon Valley Dutchman Invitational

LEBANON, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team began the spring portion of its 2018-19 season with a third-place finish of 10 teams at the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen Spring Invitational played at the Lebanon Country Club Monday afternoon.

The Greyhounds shot a 334 to finish one stroke ahead of Neumann University. The host Flying Dutchmen were first at 306 while Eastern University took second with a 322 four-man score.

Junior Nick Kuhn led the Hounds with a round of 81 that included 10 pars on the par 72 course to finish in a tie for tenth of the 53 golfers. Senior Joe Rochelle was tied for 13th with an 82 that included seven pars and a birdie while sophomore Thomas Lakata was tied for 27th with an 85 that included eight pars. Senior Kody Long finished 31st with a round of 86 which included six pars while sophomore Kody Kolnik was tied for 37th with a 90 that included six pars.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Tuesday, April 2 when the squad competes in the Alvernia University Invitational at the Ledge Rock Golf Club.
