Moravian Places Third in 2019 Landmark Conference Men's Golf Championnship

HARRISBURG, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team placed third of eight schools at the 2019 Landmark Conference Championships hosted by Elizabethtown College at the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.

The Greyhounds finished the two-day, 36-hole tournament with a score of 625, finishing just two strokes behind runner-up Drew University. Goucher College won the tournament with a 608.

Junior Nick Kuhn paced the Hounds with a 36-hole score of 150 after a 78 on Saturday to finish fourth of the 39 golfers in the tournament. Sophomore Thomas Lakata also had a top 10 finish as he tied for ninth with a 156 after shooting an 80 in the second round. Senior Kody Long carded a 78 Saturday to finish in a tie for 19th with a 161 while senior Joe Rochelle and sophomore Victor Tavares each had 36-hole totals of 162 to tie for 22nd with Rochelle shooting an 82 on Saturday and Tavares carding an 83.
