Greyhounds in Third Place after Opening Round of Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational

MOOSIC, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf squad is in third place of six teams after the opening round of the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational being hosted by The University of Scranton and King's College.

The Greyhounds shot an opening round 324 and trail Scranton by two strokes and Muhlenberg College by four strokes after 18 holes.

Junior Nick Kuhn is tied for third of the 32 individuals with an opening round of 77 on the par 71 course while senior Joe Rochelle is tied for sixth with a 79 in the first round. Freshman Will Breslin is tied for 11th with an 83 for the first 18 holes while sophomore Thomas Lakata and senior Kody Long are both tied for 16th with first round scores of 85.

The Hounds will compete in the second round of the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational on Monday, April 15 as the squad's final round of competition before the 2019 Landmark Conference Championships on May 4-5.
