TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior attack Trevor Dzama has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Dzama helped Moravian to a 2-0 week in non-conference action with nine goals, eight assists and three ground balls during the week. He had five goals and four assists in a 15-12 win over Albright College, and Dzama added three goals, four assists and a pair of ground balls in a 10-9 win at Immaculata University. The eight assists moved Dzama within two of becoming the second player in Moravian history to reach 100 career assists.
"Trevor has developed as a feeder and shooter this year," noted Head Coach Dave Carty. "He's got great eyes but can also finish. He's been a great captain for us and leader for us so far this season, and we're excited to see how he completes his career this spring."
The Hounds, who are 2-3 on the season, are slated to return to action on Wednesday, March 13 in a non-conference match versus Saint Joseph's (Maine) College beginning at 2:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
