Black, DiSora & Schall Named Women's Soccer Captains

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College has named senior Eileen Black (Branchburg, N.J./Somerville HS), junior Taylor DiSora (Easton, Pa./Easton HS) and sophomore Kirsten Schall (Tinton Falls, N.J./Saint Rose HS) as captains of the women's soccer team for the 2012 season.

Black is entering her fourth year on the team as a defender, but she also moves to offense and returns in 2012 having scored ten goals and two assists for 22 points in 56 career matches.  Black has a pair of game-winning goals in her career and is the top returning scorer for the Greyhounds this season after four goals in 2011.  Black is a three-time Landmark All-Conference selection, making the First Team in 2010 and the Second Team in both 2009 and 2011.  Black is also a two-time member of the Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.

DiSora in her third season with the Greyhounds as a midfielder and she has played in 38 career matches with five points on two goals and an assist.

Schall returns to the midfield for her second season at Moravian.  Despite missing eight matches a year ago with an injury, Schall still earned a spot on the 2011 Landmark All-Conference Second Team, and she had one assist in 11 matches.

The Greyhounds began their 2012 preseason on Monday, August 20th, and Moravian opens the regular season on Saturday, September 1st when the squad hosts Wilkes University on the Hub Quad for a 4:00 p.m. non-conference match.
