BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's and women's cross country teams will begin their 2013 seasons on Saturday, August 31st at the Lehigh University Opener.
The Greyhounds, led by third-year Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann, will compete on the course at Lehigh's Goodman Campus three times this season including the opening meet on August 31st. Moravian will also run in the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on October 5th and the 2013 NCAA Division III Mideast Region being hosted by Muhlenberg College at Lehigh on November 16th.
Moravian has two meets scheduled at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. The first meet is the Landmark Preview on September 7th, and Catholic will be hosting the 2013 Landmark Conference Championships on November 2nd. The Greyhounds' men's squad is looking for its third straight Landmark title this fall while the women are seeking their second title in three years.
The Greyhounds are also scheduled to compete at the Princeton University Invitational on October 19th, and if either team or an individual from either squad qualifies for the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championships, the meet will be hosted by Hanover (Ind.) College on November 23rd.
