TOWSON, Md. --- Junior Dillon Farrell of the Moravian College men's cross country team has been named the first Landmark Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week of 2013 for his performance last week.
Farrell paced the Greyhounds to a tenth place team finish at the Lehigh University Invitational last Saturday. Farrell completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 19:05.90 on the hot and humid morning to finish third of 184 runners in the meet. Farrell was the top NCAA Division III runner in the race by 15 seconds, and he finished behind a runner from Lehigh and former teammate Matt Lutcza '12, who ran unattached.
The two-time defending Landmark Conference Champion Greyhounds will return to action this Saturday, September 7 when they head to The Catholic University of America for the Landmark Preview race on the course that will host the conference championships on November 2.
