SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf squad finished first of 15 teams in the Conquer the Island played at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort Thursday.

How It Happened

• The Greyhounds fired a five-over par team score of 293 to finish two strokes ahead of the Drew University B team
• Drew's A squad and the University of Scranton tied for third at 301 

Moravian Results

• Junior Jason Koch tied for second of 77 golfers with a career low round of 69 to finish three under par. Koch carded five birdies and 11 pars
• Junior TJ Bohl was tied for fourth with an even par round of 72 that included a birdie and 16 pars to tie his career low round
• Sophomore Robbie McNelly placed ninth with a 74 as he carded a pair of birdies and 13 pars
• Senior Eric Gilbert was tied for 23rd with a career low round of 78 that included two birdies and 10 pars
• Junior Sam Bingaman tied for 29th and tied his career low with a 79 as he carded 12 pars
