FLEETWOOD, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf team is tied for third of 12 teams after the first round of the 36-hole Golden Oaks Shootout being hosted by Arcadia University at the Golden Oaks Golf Club. 

How It Happened

  • The Hounds recorded a four-man team score of 306 to sit in a tie with Virginia Wesleyan University
  • Farmingdale State leads the tournament with a 292 while Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is second with a 304

Moravian Results

  • Junior Jason Koch carded a one-over par opening round of 73 to sit in a tie for fifth of the 59 golfers. Koch eagled the 18th hole and also had three birdies and 10 pars in his first round
  • Junior TJ Bohl is tied for eighth overall with a two-over par 74 Sunday that included a birdie and 14 pars
  • Junior Jacob Donmoyer had an opening round 79 to sit in a tie for 32nd, and he had 12 pars in his first 18 holes of the tournament
  • Sophomore Robbie McNelly shot an 80 in the opening round with two birdies and seven pars, and he is tied for 37th
  • Junior Sam Bingaman is tied for 50th after a first round of 85 with a birdie and five pars
