FLEETWOOD, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf team placed fifth after the final round of the Golden Oaks Shootout hosted by Arcadia University at the Golden Oaks Country Club Sunday.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds recorded a four-man score of 300 on Monday, the third lowest of the day, for a 36-hole total of 614 as the squad placed fifth of nine teams
- Drew University won the tournament with a two-day total of 574
Moravian Results
- Freshman Timm Leidecker finished in a tie for ninth of the 48 golfers with a tournament total of 150. Leidecker shot a career low round of 69, the third best round of the second day, and his three-under par round included three birdies and 15 pars
- Junior Robbie McNelly tied for 12th with a 151 after carding a 74 on Monday with a pair of birdies and 13 pars
- Freshman Austin Fulton was tied for 16th with a 36-hole score of 153, and he shot a 77 in the second round with two birdies and nine pars
- Senior Sam Bingaman placed 35th overall with a 163 after an 84 in the second round that included a birdie and seven pars
- Freshman Stevie Grosscup tied for 36th at 164, and he had a career low round of 80 Monday with 11 pars
