HAGERSTOWN, Md. --- The Moravian University men's golf team finished in sixth place after the final round Sunday in the two-day, 36-hole Catholic University of America Cardinal Classic being played at the Black Rock Golf Course in Maryland.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds recorded a four-player team score of 296 on Sunday to finish sixth of the 14 teams in the tournament with a tournament total of 597
- NCAA Division II Shepherd (W.Va.) University won the tournament with a 561 after shooting 281 on Sunday
Moravian Results
- Senior Jason Koch was tied for 15th of the 76 golfers after shooting a one-under par round of 71 Sunday to finish with a 36-hole score of 148. Koch had five birdies and nine pars on his card in the second round
- Junior Robbie McNelly finished in a tie for 18th at 149 with a one-over par round of 73 in the second round that included two birdies and 13 pars
- Freshman Austin Fulton tied for 31st at 152 after carding a 77 Sunday with a pair of birdies and ten pars
- Senior Sam Bingaman finished in a tie for 36th at 153 for 36 holes, and he had an 80 in the second round with a birdie and ten pars
- Freshman Timm Leidecker tied for 42nd with a 155 after recording a 75 Sunday that included five birdies and five pars
