ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's golf squad won the John Makuvek Cup for the ninth straight year at the Lehigh Country Club Monday.
How It Happened
- The Hounds recorded a team score of 308, finishing 20 strokes ahead of the host Mules and 28 strokes in front of DeSales University
- The Bulldogs won the inaugural event in 2013, and Muhlenberg won the cup in 2014. Since then, the Greyhounds have captured the title in every year the outing has been played
Moravian Results
- Senior TJ Bohl tied for the lowest round of the day before finishing as the runner-up after a two-hole playoff. Bohl carded a four-over par 74 that included three birdies and ten pars
- Senior Jason Koch was fourth of the 17 golfers with a 76 as he carded three birdies and ten pars
- Freshman Timm Leidecker took fifth with a 77 that included 11 pars
- Freshman Stevie Grosscup tied for sixth with an 81 as he posted a birdie and seven pars
- Freshman Austin Fulton finished eighth at 83 with two birdies and seven pars
