FLEETWOOD, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's golf squad played as individuals in the final round of the 36-hole Golden Oaks Shootout hosted by Arcadia University at the Golden Oaks Country Club Monday.

How It Happened

• The Hounds were playing as individuals with just three competitors for the tournament
• Alvernia University edged Marymount (Va.) University by a stroke, 622 to 623, to capture first of the five teams

Moravian Results

• Sophomore Heidi Wegscheider finished in a tie for tenth of 38 golfers after a five-over par round of 77 on Monday to finish with a 36-hole score of 164. Wegscheider had three birdies and eight pars in her second round
• Sophomore Ella Oswald was 30th with a 193 with a 100 that included four pars in the second round
• Junior Izzy Szmodis placed 35th overall with a 213 after a 106 Monday that included a trio of pars
