TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore Emma Angle has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Angle, who garnered her third Landmark Conference award of the season, helped the Greyhounds to a 3-0 week as the squad finished a perfect Landmark Conference regular season and improved to 17-1 be extending the squad's winning streak to 12. Angle was 3-0 at first singles during the week, and she combined with junior Eiman Nazif (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall HS) for three victories at first doubles.
"Emma had a great week this week for us going a combined 6-0 at #1 singles and #1 doubles with Eiman," commented Director of Tennis Aaron Wilf. "She continues to provide us with outstanding tennis at the top positions and is a huge reason for all of our team success this season."
The top seeded Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, May 1 when Moravian hosts fourth seed Goucher College in a Landmark Conference Semifinal contest beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Hoffman Courts.
