LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. --- The Moravian College women's cross country squad placed 18th in the Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan University at Gloucester Country DREAM Park on Saturday.
The Hounds were 18th of 39 with a team score of 541, finishing one spot behind Landmark Conference rival Elizabethtown College. Sophomore Natalie Novotni led the Greyhounds as she finished 93rd of 345 runners on the 6,000-meter course with a time of 23:17.6, a personal best by 32 seconds. Junior Katie Mayer was four spots back in a time of 23:19.6 while junior Carly Danoski finished in 108th at 23:29.4.
Rounding out the top five for Moravian were sophomore Molly Talarico in 128th with a time of 23:49.3 and senior Alyssa Limbaugh at 159th in 24:08.3. Freshman Santina Burak placed 208th in 24:40.5 while junior Ashley Rohrer finished in 212th with a time of 24:43.5 to round out the Greyhounds in the championship race.
Moravian will return to action on Saturday, October 27 in the 2018 Landmark Conference Championships being hosted by Elizabethtown College at Union Canal Tunnel Park in Lebanon, Pennsylvania with the first race to begin at 11:00 a.m.
