ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team played its final non-conference match of the 2014 season, falling to rival Muhlenberg College, 5-0, in a Matte Award match at Scotty Wood Stadium Wednesday evening.
The Greyhounds made a late push in the match to get on the scoreboard with four penalty corners in the final 15:25 of action. Sophomore goalie Megan Kanyuk posted six saves for the Hounds.
Moravian will close out its 2014 season on Saturday, November 1 when the Greyhounds host Drew University in a Landmark Conference match at Rocco Calvo Field. The Senior Day match is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Hounds honoring their seven seniors before the contest.
