James Selected as Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University graduate student attack Connor James has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

James helped the Hounds to a 2-0 week with 10 points on nine goals and an assist to go with five ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. James tied his career high with eight goals on nine shots including a pair of man-up goals to with three ground balls and a caused turnover in a 23-9 win at College of Mount St. Vincent. He had a man-up goal and an assist to go with two ground balls and a caused turnover in the Greyhounds' 9-8 come-from-behind win at Drew University.

"Conor has always been a consistent scorer for us," said Head Coach Dave Carty. "He's back after an injury and it's great to see him having an impact for us."

The Greyhounds, who are 5-5 overall and 1-1 in Landmark Conference competition, are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 8 when the squad welcomes The University of Scranton to John Makuvek Field for a Landmark Conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m.
