Four Softball Players Ranked in NCAA Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Moravian College softball team has four players that are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III statistics through games of April 20, and the Greyhounds are in the top 30 of six statistical categories as a team including three in the top 10.

Junior first baseman Jenn Dalickas is eighth in the country in RBIs per game at 1.45, and she is 11th in slugging percentage at .918, 22nd in on-base percentage at .566, 29th in home runs per game at 0.28, 31st in batting average at .494 and tied for 32nd in home runs with eight.

Sophomore left fielder Mary Schlosbon is tied for 30th in sacrifice hits per game at 0.36, and she is tied for 74th in batting average with a .462 average.

Junior center fielder Dior George is tied for 27th in runs scored per game at 1.25 while senior pitcher Elizabeth Tillou is tied for 17th in ERA with a 1.00.

The Greyhounds are sixth in the nation in batting average with a .381, and the squad is also sixth in slugging percentage with a .56 and 10th in doubles per game at 2.17. The Hounds are also 11th in scoring at 7.86 runs per game, 20th in win-loss percentage at .828 and 26th in triples per game with 0.45.

Moravian, now 24-6 on the year, is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, April 24 in a Landmark Conference doubleheader at The University of Scranton starting at 5:00 p.m.
