Hounds Name MacDonnell, Marcks and Wright as 2015-16 Captains

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior forward Alexis Wright, junior forward Alesha Marcks and senior guard Emily MacDonnell were selected as captains for the 2015-16 Moravian College women's basketball season.

"Alexis, Alesha and Emily bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and leadership as our captains this season," stated Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk. "They each bring a different way to lead. Alexis is a quiet leader who plays steady and at a high level, day in and day out, and expects her teammates to do the same. Alesha is an intense, emotional leader who wills her teammates to play beyond their limits. And Emily is a combination of the two. She is easy going and well-liked by her teammates, but has that edge which makes her well respected also. With such strong, mature leaders, I expect a great year with this team on and off the court."

Marcks is entering her final year with the Greyhounds. Marcks averaged 27 minutes per-game last year while recording 422 points, 213 rebounds, 60 assists, 41 blocks and 44 steals.
