MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Moravian University senior wide receiver Trevor Cunningham has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, for his performance last Saturday in the Greyhounds' 16-13 overtime win at Gettysburg College to open the 2021 Centennial Conference season.

Cunningham, who is the Greyhounds' first D3football.com Team of the Week honoree since 2018, had career highs of 12 receptions and 167 yards to go with one touchdown at Gettysburg. Cunningham's TD came on the final play of the fourth quarter and tied the game at 10-10 to force overtime. The 12 receptions are just one shy of the Moravian school record for a game, and Cunningham is the third different wide receiver to catch 12 passes in a game from senior quarterback Christopher Mills since 2018.

"Although Trevor isn't a vocal leader for us, his work ethic during practice and in the weight room speak volumes," stated Head Coach Jeff Pukszyn. "His commitment to being the best during the week of preparation certainly showed this past Saturday. Trevor was able to get himself open when we needed him against Gettysburg, and he has become a go-to receiver for Chris."

The Greyhounds, 1-1 overall and 1-0 in Centennial Conference action, are slated to play the 2021 home opener on Saturday, September 18 when Susquehanna University comes to Rocco Calvo Field for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff on Family Day.
