Buskirk Named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Jackson Buskirk named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

LANCASTER, Pa. --- Moravian University senior defensive back Jackson Buskirk has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Greyhounds' 21-14 win over Dickinson College Saturday.

Buskirk led the Moravian defense with 10 tackles including seven solo stops in the Homecoming victory. Buskirk also had a pass break-up and forced a fumble in the red zone.

"Jackson gave a great effort yesterday and made some key tackles along with one that caused a fumble in the red zone in the 4th to help change the momentum of the game," stated Head Coach Jeff Pukszyn.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Saturday, October 23 when the squad hosts Ursinus College in a Centennial Conference game kicking off at 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field on Take a Kid to the Game Day.
