Juniors D.J. Strayhorn & Garrett Johnson Earn Landmark All-Conference Honors

MADISON, N.J. – Junior guard D.J. Strayhorn of the Moravian College men's basketball team has been named to the 2012 Landmark All-Conference First Team. Classmate guard Garrett Johnson was named to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team announced Friday.

The voting for the All-Conference Team took place after the conclusion of the regular season and prior to the start of the Landmark postseason. The conference's eight head coaches were the voters.

Strayhorn led the Greyhounds with a team-high 19.1 points per game, 82 assists, 51 steals and 39 three-pointers. He shot .437 (153-for-350) from the field and .833 (95-for-114) from the foul line while also grabbing 52 rebounds on the season. Strayhorn was named Landmark Conference Player of the Week for the week of January 9th.

Johnson ranked second on the squad with 12.9 points per contest, 75 assists, 42 steals and 38 three-pointers. He also ranked second with 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting .421 (118-for-280) from the field. Johnson had three double-doubles this winter.

Moravian wrapped up its season this past Wednesday, falling to the University of Scranton in the Landmark Conference Semifinals. The Greyhounds were 12-14 on the year and made their first postseason appearance since 2008.
