WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team fell behind by two goals before scoring late as the Greyhounds fell to No. 17 Lycoming College, 2-1, in non-conference action on the road Wednesday afternoon.
The Hounds, now 5-3-2 on the season, and the Warriors were scoreless until the end of the 34th minute when Lycoming found the back of the net. The score would remain 1-0 through the intermission.
The Warriors added a goal in the 69th minute to take a 2-0 lead on the Blue and Grey. Moravian would finally get on the scoreboard in the 74th minute when freshman defender Jared Stafford headed in a crossing pass from freshman midfielder Anthony Nagy for his fourth goal of the season.
Greyhound sophomore goalie Michael Bone recorded eight saves in the contest.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 6 when the squad hosts The University of Scranton in a Landmark Conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
