Greyhounds Post One School Record on Opening Day of 2023 Landmark Conference Championships

BOYDS, Md. --- The Moravian University men's swimming squad had a pair of competitors on the opening day of the 2023 Landmark Conference Championships at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center with the Greyhounds setting one school record.

How It Happened

  • Sophomore Harrison Ziegler won his heat in the 500-yard freestyle preliminaries in a time of 4:56.76 to advance to the "B" Finals where he swam a time of 4:56.18 to finish fourth in the race and 12th in the event to earn five points
  • Freshman Evan Bulette set the school record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.07 seconds in the preliminaries, taking two tenths of a second off his previous personal best in the event
  • The Hounds are in seventh place after the first day of action with five points
