PRINCETON, N.J. --- Seniors Kristopher Joint and Yacine Zerdoum each posted ECAC qualifying marks at the non-scoring Princeton University Invitational Sunday.
Joint won the triple jump with a mark of 14.82 meters (48 feet, 7 ½ inches), the third time this season that he has recorded that same distance, which is second in the nation on the Track & Field Results Reporting System. The mark is also tied for second in Moravian's record book and gives Joint the top nine distances in school history in the triple jump indoors.
Zerdoum posted a career-best time of 50.32 seconds in the 400-meter dash, placing second of 26 runners in the event.
Moravian looks to win its sixth straight Landmark Conference title on Saturday, March 1 when the 2014 meet is hosted by Susquehanna University at 10:00 a.m.
